Graphic Signs partnered with Coventry Parks to design, manufacture and install a wide range of signage solutions across multiple park sites. Each location required its own distinct visual style, while maintaining durability, discretion and sensitivity to heritage surroundings such as War Memorial Park.
Coventry Parks manages a diverse portfolio of public parks and green spaces throughout Coventry, serving local communities and visitors year-round.
Coventry’s parks and green spaces are essential to the wellbeing of their communities and the local environment. With over 400 green spaces across the city, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature, get active, and connect with others.
Following detailed site surveys across various park locations, the Graphic Signs team developed bespoke signage styles tailored to each environment. The project included the manufacture and installation of a broad range of products, from post-mounted signs and external modular systems to built-up aluminium lettering and display cabinets for historical artefacts.
Signage was required across the sites and the best solution for this was post-mounted signs across the open park areas.
Aluminium lettering was chosen for the buildings as they needed long-lasting signage that would stand out.
External modular sign systems were used to enable updates and exhibition changes to future-proof the signage in some areas.
Heritage display cabinets for artifacts were branded for consistency with the signage onsite.
To achieve the expert finishes required, we used high-performance printing methods to meet these needs.
From manufacture of the signage to a professional installation service, we managed the full project.
Site visits were conducted for the parks to check locations and measure signage sites.
Designs were created, incorporating the type and materials of each sign. These were agreed across all sites as a key part of the project.
