When STH Westco set out to enhance the in-store presentation of its premium tap ranges, the goal was clear: deliver a striking, practical display solution that would stand out in busy retail environments while reinforcing brand identity. Partnering with Merit Display, the brief was transformed into a suite of modular, multi-tiered tap display stands designed to maximise visibility, flexibility, and long-term performance across national retail locations.

STH Westco is a respected provider of plumbing, heating, and sanitary solutions, supplying merchants, plumbers, and heating installers with high-quality, reliable products.
Comprising the well-known Westco and Francis Bathroom & Kitchen brands, STH Westco is committed to delivering efficient, water-saving, and energy-conscious solutions without compromising on comfort or performance.
STH Westco required the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke tap display stands for rollout across national retailer locations. The solution needed to work within existing store racking dimensions while delivering strong visual impact and practical functionality.
Three tailored display formats were developed:
A dedicated kitchen tap display
A dedicated bathroom tap display
A dual-purpose display showcasing both ranges
Each unit was carefully designed to balance elegance, usability, and modular flexibility.
Multi-tiered display design to optimise visibility and browsing
Precision sizing to fit existing retail shelving structures
Modular construction, with bolted individual units for flexibility
Slotted hole system allowing fast and simple product changes
Magnetic interchangeable graphics for effortless updates and pricing refreshes
Large-format branded header panels to enhance brand recognition
National installation rollout with centralised project management
Online fulfilment hub access, providing real-time project visibility, automatic updates, installation photography, and proof of delivery documentation
We worked with STH Westco to establish the requirements for the display rollout, covering product range, retailer formats, available floor space, and branding standards — ensuring the solution would be consistent and adaptable across multiple locations.
Our team designed a multi-tiered display stand to maximise vertical space whilst keeping all taps clearly visible and within easy reach. The modular format was developed to adapt to varying store layouts, with straightforward product and graphic changeout built into the specification from the outset.
Stands were manufactured, quality-checked, and packed for safe transit. Delivery to each retail site was coordinated to fit store schedules and minimise disruption on the floor.
Stands were installed in-store by our team, with each unit configured to suit the individual retailer's space. Products were positioned across the tiers to optimise visibility and encourage browsing, with STH Westco branding checked throughout before handover.
As STH Westco refreshed their tap range, we returned to site to swap out existing products for the updated models and replace the display graphics to match. The modular construction of the stands made this a straightforward process, keeping the displays current without the need for a full refit.
This project demonstrated the importance of designing retail displays with long-term adaptability in mind. By combining modular engineering with flexible graphics and product fixtures, the solution ensures STH Westco can evolve its product offering without replacing entire display units. The result is a sustainable, future-ready retail environment that continues to capture attention, reinforce brand identity, and deliver commercial impact years after initial installation.
