Green Biofuels partnered with Graphic Signs to revitalise three 6.5-metre fuel tanks at their seaside site. What began as a refurbishment project evolved into a full-scale branding transformation, turning ageing industrial structures into striking, durable brand statements that reflect the company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Green Biofuels (GBF) is a forward-thinking company dedicated to providing environmentally friendly fuel solutions that reduce carbon emissions and promote cleaner energy alternatives.

Graphic Signs was appointed to refurbish and rebrand three large fuel tanks measuring 6.5 metres in height and width. The tanks required full surface preparation, including stripping, sanding, priming, and repainting before new graphics could be installed.
Due to weather constraints, the project was rescheduled from winter to spring to ensure optimal conditions for both painting and installation. The full timeline spanned approximately three months, beginning with a comprehensive site survey and concluding with final graphic installation in early September.
A comprehensive site survey and planning process established the requirements, logistics and installation approach before work began.
Large-scale artwork was developed specifically for the project, incorporating the GBF brand to create a strong and consistent visual identity.
Specialist marine-grade vinyl was selected to provide the durability required for a demanding coastal environment and prolonged outdoor exposure.
The existing surfaces were fully stripped, sanded, primed and repainted to create a suitable base for the new graphics.
The graphics were installed over approximately four weeks, with the programme carefully managed around challenging coastal weather conditions.
Close communication was maintained throughout the project, allowing the team to respond quickly to changing conditions and keep the installation progressing.
