We partnered with St Gabriel’s CofE Academy to deliver a cohesive signage and branding scheme that would establish a strong community presence, attract prospective families and create an inspiring learning environment from day one.

St Gabriel’s CofE Academy is an inclusive, state-funded primary school. The school is a partnership between Coventry DBE and Urban&Civic, located in Houlton, a major new housing development in the Midlands.
The Academy is committed to delivering high-quality education and providing, “...an inspirational, aspirational and holistic education where all children and staff develop and achieve to their full potential.”

As a newly opened school without an established reputation, St Gabriel’s required a comprehensive signage and branding solution that would position it as a professional, high-quality educational provider from the outset.
We worked closely with the school through an extensive consultation process to understand its values, vision and practical site requirements.

Wall-mounted sign tray beneath the main entrance canopy to create a strong first impression, Wall- and post-mounted modular signs positioned strategically for wayfinding and information
Clear directional signage to support visitors, parents and pupils. Consistent design language across all external signs
Door signs and flat cut lettering throughout the building. Over 10 bespoke wall graphics designed to inspire and stimulate learning. A feature reception wall graphic incorporating a decorative tree design with dry-wipe leaves, allowing each child’s name to be added and updated over time
Full installation completed within three days during the school holidays, ready for the new term.
