Full internal and external signage for a £10 million Degree Apprenticeship Centre

We delivered a comprehensive internal and external branding scheme for a new Degree Apprenticeship Centre, combining totem signage, wayfinding and large-scale wall graphics to create a bold, future-focused learning environment.

The Degree Apprenticeship Centre is a £10 million development funded by the UK Government’s Local Growth Fund. Designed to support technology-enhanced learning, the building provides flexible teaching rooms and laboratory space with an initial capacity for 1,000 students.

Project brief

Graphic Arts Group was appointed to manufacture and install the complete internal and external signage and branding package. The project required a seamless integration of functional wayfinding and impactful design features that reflected the innovative and forward-thinking nature of the centre.

From external totem signage to bespoke printed interior wall coverings, every element was designed to contribute to a cohesive, high-quality environment for students, staff and visitors.

    Key learnings

    In modern education environments, particularly those focused on technology and innovation, branding must go beyond functionality. It should inspire, impress and reinforce the forward-thinking purpose of the space.

    By combining impactful large-scale graphics, premium materials and cohesive wayfinding, this project demonstrates how environmental branding can transform a new building into a confident, high-profile centre for learning from day one.
