



The University of Warwick is widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading institutions. Renowned for its academic excellence, it consistently ranks among the top 10 in national league tables and is recognised globally as a world-class university.

The Junction, formerly a sports facility, was being repurposed as a central hub for innovation, research, and entrepreneurial activity. The University wanted the building’s exterior to embody this new vision—an inspiring space that mirrors the creativity and collaboration happening inside. The brief called for large-scale graphics featuring Warwick alumni entrepreneurs, integrated with the building’s architecture, and designed to make a bold statement.

Graphic Signs worked closely with the University of Warwick’s Marketing team to ensure the design aligned with the University’s brand and the Innovation District’s vision. Using official imagery of Warwick alumni entrepreneurs, we developed concepts that would inspire and engage everyone passing by The Junction.
The project featured multiple large-scale graphic panels spanning the 180-foot-wide building facade. Some panels were enhanced with illuminated lightboxes, creating a striking visual impact both during the day and at night.
Due to the size and complexity of the installation, specialist access equipment was required. Our team managed all logistics and safety measures to ensure a smooth process. Despite the scale of the project, we completed the installation within one week, minimising disruption to campus activities and ensuring the building was ready for its relaunch.
We worked with Warwick’s Marketing team to define the vision: an exterior that reflects innovation and inspires the campus community. Planning focused on design concepts, materials, and installation logistics.
